Six colours pushed into one frame and held apart by a single cream ridge. Red, orange and marigold pile up on the left; the right drops to a navy so deep it reads black, shot through with hot magenta; teal ribbons run the join. Gold sits in flecks across the whole width. It is the boldest of the acrylic set, and the one that does most for a dark desktop.

What you get

  • Landscape master — 7680 × 4320 (8K, 16:9), PNG lossless and JPG quality 92
  • Portrait master — 4320 × 7680 (9:16), the same artwork turned for phones and tablets, PNG and JPG
  • Four files in one 19 MB zip, with a README covering setup on macOS, Windows, iOS and iPadOS

One licence, personal and client work, forever. No resale.

What you get
  • ⇩ Ember Tide — 1 wallpaper, two orientations, 8K PNG + JPG (19 MB)18 MB

The frame splits on a diagonal. Everything left of centre is heat — crimson at the outer edge, then orange, then marigold, laid in short overlapping strokes that keep breaking the colour up. Everything right of centre is night: navy deep enough to read as black, with magenta forced through it in ribbons and splatter. A cream ridge curls between the two like a wave that has not decided which side it belongs to, and teal follows it the whole way across.

Five colours carry it — crimson, marigold, cream, midnight navy and magenta — with gold scattered on top as flecks rather than strokes.

Where it goes quiet: the navy on the right. Just under half the frame sits below five percent luminance, so on an OLED panel that side is genuinely off rather than dimly grey, and it is where a desktop's icons sit most comfortably.

Why two orientations?

One artwork, supplied both ways. The portrait file is the same painting turned through ninety degrees, so a phone or tablet gets a full 9:16 frame instead of a centre crop out of a widescreen image.

Is it too busy for a working desktop?

It is the loudest of the four acrylics. If you keep a lot of icons out, put them on the right-hand navy. If you keep a clean desktop, this is the one that pays off most on a large display.

PNG or JPG?

PNG if you want the lossless file, JPG at quality 92 if you would rather not move the larger one around. At screen sizes they are indistinguishable.
