Licensing
One licence covers everything in the store. Use it in your own work and your clients’ work, commercially, forever — just don’t resell the files themselves.

The licence we grant
When your payment for a product is confirmed, 1dot1 grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, non-transferable licence to use, copy and modify that product’s files under the terms on this page.
You are buying a licence to use the files, not the copyright in them. 1dot1 and its contributors keep ownership of everything we sell. Nothing here transfers copyright, moral rights or trademark rights to you.
The licence belongs to the person or company that bought it. It can’t be sold, sub-licensed or transferred to anyone else — with one exception: if you buy as a company and that company is acquired or restructured, the licence moves with the business. Tell us so we can update the account.
Unless a product page says otherwise, this standard licence applies to every wallpaper, GIF, video, UI kit, code template, spreadsheet, guide and Claude skill in the store. Where a product page states different or additional terms, that product page wins for that product.
What you can do
- Personal use, unlimited. Your desktop, phone, personal site, side project, portfolio, printouts for your own wall.
- Commercial use, unlimited. Your business’s website, app, marketing, social posts, ads, decks, videos, packaging, merchandise you sell, printed material.
- Client work. Use the files in projects you deliver to clients, including paid work — see Client work for how the licence follows the delivered project.
- Unlimited end products. No cap on projects, print runs, impressions, downloads or revenue. One purchase covers all of it.
- Modify freely. Recolour, crop, edit, extend, combine with other work, refactor the code, take a component and rebuild it. Your modifications are yours; the underlying files stay ours.
- Use code and templates in production. Ship UI kits, components and code templates inside your own applications, including commercial and closed-source ones.
- Adapt written guides internally. Use our guides, handbooks and Claude skills inside your own team — including editing them to fit your workflows.
What you can’t do
- Redistribute or resell the files. Don’t upload them anywhere others can download them, don’t bundle them into a pack, don’t list them on a marketplace, don’t email them to people who didn’t buy them. This is the one rule that really matters to us.
- Share your access. Your account, delivery emails and download links are yours alone.
- Sell the file as the product. The test is simple: if someone is paying mainly to get our file rather than something you made with it, that’s not allowed. A wallpaper in your app’s theme picker is fine; a wallpaper app that is our pack with a new icon is not.
- Build a competing product. Don’t use our files to create a wallpaper pack, preset pack, UI kit, template store or asset library that competes with 1dot1.
- Train AI or machine-learning models on our files, or include them in a dataset used for training, fine-tuning or generating derivative assets — whether the model is yours or a third party’s.
- Register them as yours. Don’t claim copyright in our files, and don’t register a trademark for a logo, icon or mark that consists of, or is substantially based on, something you bought here.
- Use them unlawfully or hatefully. No use in material that’s illegal where you or your audience are, that harasses or defames people, that sexualises minors, or that promotes hatred against a group of people.
- Imply we endorse you. Don’t use the 1dot1 name or logo to suggest we’re affiliated with or endorsing your product without written permission.
Client work
You may use the files in work you produce for clients. When you hand over the finished project, your client can keep using the files as part of that project, with the same restrictions above — they can’t extract the files and reuse them in unrelated work.
If your client wants the files themselves, for open-ended use across future projects, they need their own licence. Buying one copy and handing the raw pack to a client isn’t covered. Point them at the product page, or buy a second licence and bill it through.
Teams & companies
A licence covers one person or one company. If you bought as an individual, it’s yours to use; colleagues who also need the working files should have their own licence. If your company bought it, everyone working on that company’s projects may use the files for that work.

Fonts & third-party material
Some products — UI kits and templates especially — display or reference fonts, icons or libraries we don’t own. Where that happens, the product page and the files say so.
Those items come with their own licences from their own owners, and our licence can’t and doesn’t extend to them. Open-source components keep their original licences (MIT, SIL OFL and so on), which stay intact inside the files. If a commercial font is used in a mockup, you’ll need to licence that font yourself before using it in your own work.
Photography, illustration and colour studies we ship are our own or properly licensed for resale in this form. If you ever have reason to think otherwise about something we sell, tell us and we’ll investigate immediately.
Attribution
Not required. You never have to credit 1dot1 in anything you make. If you want to, we’re grateful — a link to 1dot1.shop is more than enough.
Breach & termination
This licence ends automatically if you break its terms. If that happens you must stop using the files and delete the copies you hold — though work you already delivered in good faith to a client before the breach doesn’t have to be torn down.
In practice we’d rather fix a misunderstanding than end a licence. If we think something’s wrong, we’ll email you first and give you a chance to put it right. Deliberate, repeated redistribution is the case where we won’t.
