Terms & privacy

The agreement between you and 1dot1 when you buy something, and a plain account of what we do with your personal data.

These terms apply to 1dot1.shop and everything sold on it. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them. Two related pages form part of this agreement: the licence terms, which govern what you may do with files you buy, and the refund policy.

1. Who we are

1dot1 (“we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship operated by [PROPRIETOR LEGAL NAME] from [BUSINESS ADDRESS, BANGLADESH]. We design and sell digital products — wallpapers, motion loops, UI kits, code templates, spreadsheets, guides and Claude skills.

You can reach us at contact@1dot1.shop or through the contact form. That inbox is monitored on business days and is the right route for every question about orders, licensing, privacy or these terms.

2. Who you buy from

Payments on this site are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for the transaction: it takes the payment, calculates and remits any VAT, GST or sales tax due in your country, issues the receipt, and processes refunds and chargebacks. Its name, not ours, is what normally appears on your card or bank statement.

In practice you deal with us for everything about the product — what it is, what you may do with it, whether a refund is due — and Lemon Squeezy moves the money. Their own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself, alongside these terms. We never see or store your full card number.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that’s higher, to buy from us. If you’re buying on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it.

4. Products and prices

All prices are set and charged in US dollars. The other currencies you can select in the header are an indicative conversion to help you browse; the amount actually charged is the US dollar price. Your bank’s own exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee are between you and your bank.

Applicable tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Prices, product contents and promotions can change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

Product pages describe what’s included — formats, quantity, and what you need to open the files. We work hard to keep those accurate. Previews are representative; minor differences in how something renders on your screen or in your software are not a defect, but a material difference from the description is, and it’s refundable.

Obvious pricing errors (a $48 kit listed at $0.48) are not binding. If one occurs, we’ll cancel and refund the order rather than fulfil it, and we’ll tell you why.

5. Orders and payment

Adding something to your cart is not a purchase. The contract forms when your payment is confirmed and we send your delivery email. Until then we may decline an order — for example where we suspect fraud, a payment fails, or a product has been withdrawn.

You may check out as a guest with just an email address. Give us one you can actually receive mail at: it’s where your files go, and it’s the key that links purchases to you.

Discount codes are subject to their own conditions and expiry, may be withdrawn at any time, and can’t be applied retrospectively to a completed order.

6. Delivery and access

Delivery is electronic and normally instant. Files are served through signed links that expire after a few minutes; you can generate fresh ones as often as you like from your order page or your library. Re-downloads are unlimited and free. Full detail is on the downloads and access page.

We keep your library available for as long as the store operates, and we’d give notice by email before that changed. Even so, please keep your own backup of anything you buy.

7. Licence

You buy a licence to use the files, not the copyright in them. The standard licence lets you use them in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client work, and bars redistribution, resale and AI training. The full terms are on the licensing page and form part of this agreement.

8. Refunds

Because delivery is immediate, change-of-mind refunds aren’t generally available once you’ve downloaded — but faulty, missing, misdescribed and duplicate purchases are refunded in full, and your statutory rights are unaffected. See the refund policy for the detail, including the EU and UK withdrawal rules.

9. Accounts

You don’t need an account to buy, but you can claim one to keep your purchases in one place. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has access. You’re responsible for what happens under your account until you do.

You can ask us to close your account at any time. We’ll keep the minimum order records we’re legally required to keep — see section 20.

10. Acceptable use

Don’t use this site to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the store beyond ordinary browsing;
• probe, attack or attempt to get around the security of the site or its file storage;
• share, resell or redistribute the files you buy;
• use payment details that aren’t yours;
• impersonate someone else or misuse the contact form or newsletter.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe one of these is happening.

11. Our content

Everything on this site that isn’t a product you’ve licensed — the design, code, copy, articles, logo and name — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, quote reasonably with a link, and share our articles; you may not republish them wholesale or present them as your own.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the store and your library available continuously, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access: maintenance, hosting or storage outages and events outside our control all happen. We can add, change or retire products at any time — retiring a product doesn’t affect files you already bought or your licence to them.

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place an order, and the “last updated” date at the top tells you when it changed. Material changes will be announced on the site, and by email to account holders where they affect existing purchases. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

13. Disclaimers and liability

Our products are supplied as they are. We warrant that they match their description and will be delivered to you, but we can’t promise that a given file suits a particular purpose you have in mind, works with every version of every application, or that our guides and code templates will produce a particular result in your project. Check the requirements on the product page, and ask us if you’re unsure.

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, lost revenue or business interruption arising from your use of the site or the products. Our total liability for any claim connected to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that can’t lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country. If you’re a consumer, your statutory rights come first and this section is read subject to them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If you’re a consumer resident in the EU, UK or another country whose law gives you mandatory protections, that choice of law doesn’t deprive you of them: you keep the protections of your own country’s law and may bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform, though emailing us is faster and we’d rather sort it out directly.

15. Privacy policy

This part explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. 1dot1 is the data controller for it, contactable at contact@1dot1.shop.

The principle we work to is simple: collect as little as possible, use it only to run the store, and never sell it. We don’t run advertising trackers or share your data with data brokers.

16. Data we collect

What you give us

• Your email address at checkout — required, because it’s how your files reach you and how purchases are linked to you.
• Account details if you claim an account: your email, a name if you give one, and a password (stored only as a salted hash — we can’t read it).
• Messages you send through the contact form or by email, including anything you put in them.
• Your email address again if you subscribe to the newsletter, plus the fact that you subscribed and when.

What we get from the payment provider

Lemon Squeezy sends us order metadata: an order id, the products bought, the amount, the currency, the country used for tax, and the buyer’s email. We never receive your full card number. Card data is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy and its processors under their own privacy policy.

What the site records automatically

• Download logs — which file was downloaded, when, from what IP address and browser. We keep these to detect abuse of purchased files and to investigate delivery problems.
• Ordinary server and hosting logs kept by our host for security and diagnostics.

We do not collect special-category data, and we don’t ask for your address, phone number or date of birth.

17. Why we use it, and on what basis

We don’t use your data to make automated decisions with legal effects, and we don’t profile you for advertising.

18. Cookies and browser storage

We use as little of this as the store can function with:

• A session cookie once you sign in, so the site knows it’s you. It’s httpOnly, so scripts can’t read it, and it disappears when you sign out.
• Local storage in your browser for your cart contents and your chosen display currency. That stays on your device and is never sent to us as personal data.

There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no cross-site profiling, which is why you don’t see a consent banner demanding your attention. If we ever add analytics, we’ll use a privacy-preserving, cookie-free tool and say so here first.

19. Who we share it with

We share data only with the services needed to run the store, each under a contract that limits them to that:

• Lemon Squeezy — payments, tax, invoicing, refunds, as merchant of record.
• Amazon Web Services — file storage and delivery of the products you buy.
• Our hosting provider — running the site itself.
• Our email provider — sending delivery emails, magic links and the newsletter.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims — for example, using delivery records to answer a chargeback. We do not sell personal data, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Because we operate from Bangladesh and use international providers, your data is processed outside your country, including in the United States and the EU. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

20. How long we keep it

• Order and tax records — for as long as tax and accounting law requires us and our merchant of record to keep them.
• Your account and library — until you ask us to close it.
• Download logs — a limited period, long enough to investigate abuse and support problems.
• Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
• Contact messages — while the conversation is useful, then deleted.

21. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable format — and we’ll do it. Email contact@1dot1.shop from the address concerned and we’ll respond within 30 days, free of charge. We may need to confirm it’s really you before acting.

Bangladesh

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, you have rights of access and portability, correction of inaccurate data within 30 days, erasure where data is no longer needed or consent is withdrawn, and the right to withdraw consent at any time by a simple means.

EU, EEA and UK

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests — plus the right to withdraw consent for anything based on it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.

United States

If you live in California or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can ask what personal information we’ve collected, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of its sale or sharing — we don’t sell or share personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

22. Security

Purchased files sit in private storage that is not publicly reachable; every download goes through a short-lived signed link. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Admin access is restricted to us.

No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal data, we’d notify the relevant authority and you, as the law requires, and tell you plainly what happened.

This site isn’t intended for children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we’ll delete it.
